Issue with updating apps getting error code 0x8000000e
I have had an issue with updating my apps for a few weeks now and I have searched the internet for an answer and I found one post with the same issues I am having and it didn’t provide any help so I am going to make post of my own. My system has an AMD A4 1.5 GHZ quad core in it. I have not made any changes to the hardware since I bought it. The OS is Windows 8.1 pro.
I get that error code with all of them. I have tried the AppsDiagnostic.diagcab to fix the issue but it only fixed the Windows Store app. Is there anything else i can do to fix the issue?

To diagnose this issue further, I would like to ask you:
- When was the last time it was working fine?
- Are you using any third-party security software?
- Have you made any software changes prior to this issue?
Try the following methods and check:
Method 1: Clean Boot
A clean boot is performed to start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This helps eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install a program or an update or when you run a program in Windows. To know more, follow the article below:
Note: After troubleshooting, refer to this section ‘How to reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting’.
Method 2: D isable proxy settings
a. Start Internet Explorer.
b. Click Internet Options on theTools menu.
Note: If the Tools menu is not displayed, press ALT to display the Tools menu.
c. Click the Connection tab, and then click onLAN settings.
d. Uncheck the “Use a proxy server for your LAN check box”.
e. Select and check «Automatically detect settings» under «Automatic Configuration«
f. After above step try opening website and check if the issue persists.
Method 3: Disable Antivirus
If you have installed any third party security software like antivirus or firewall, I would suggest you disable them temporarily and check if the apps work.
Important Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn’t disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you’re done. If you’re connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
Method 4: Clear Store cache
To clear Windows Store cache follow the steps below:
- Press Windows + R on the desktop screen.
- Type WSRESET.EXE and press OK.
- Check if the issue persists

Error code 0x8000000e when I try to uninstall an application.
The title says it all. I tried soft resetting my phone, unsuccessful, I tried formatting the SD card, unsuccessful, Any help would be nice.
