ASUS Fan Xpert — удобная утилита для материнских плат производства ASUS, с помощью которой можно не входя в BIOS регулировать скорость вращения крыльчатки вентиляторов. Это позволит добиться оптимальной температуры внутри системного блока или ноутбука при минимальном уровне шума.

Программа требует некоторого опыта работы с подобными инструментами, т.к. неправильная настройка кулера может вызвать перегрев и выход из строя системных компонентов и комплектующих ПК. Скорость вращения вентилятора определяется с помощью графического модуля, где показана ее зависимость от температуры на материнке. Таким образом, при разной нагрузке на «железо» скорость вращения кулера будет разной, а значит и уровень шума будет меняться: в режиме простоя меньше, при использовании «тяжелых» приложений и игр — больше.

Вы можете использовать как готовые профили настроек для процессорного кулера и корпусного вентилятора, так создать свой собственный с индивидуальными настройками.

ASUS Fan Xpert/AI Suite for Windows 10 64-bit and old computer?

Is there a Fan Xpert/AI Suite version that works with Windows 10 64-bit and a ASUS P5QL Pro motherboard?

I want to control my CPU fan with Fan Xpert; it worked great in Windows XP but it does not work in Windows 10 and I could not find a new version or a better alternative (SpeedFan is too complex and unreliable to me).

Can someone help me?

If you install the latest version of AI Suite III, it has Fan Xpert 4 included.

Are you sure that will work with my motherboard? some time ago I tried to install AI Suite III and it said that my model was not supported, but maybe it was a different version. I’m willing to try it again if you can provide a download link. Thank you.

Go to your motherboard support page and you’ll find it under utilities.
I’m trying to find Fan Expert as a standalone install, because AI Suite literally turns off my PC.

I have had similar issues with an ROG Rampage IIi Black Edition motherboard. AI Suite II will no longer install and Asus has virtually dropped support for it for the motherboard if you install Windows 10. There is nothing else for the motherboard from Asus either—as in no compatible newer version of AI Suite, such as AI Suite III. I used SpeedFan for a while, but found it hard to tweak and use. Hence, I have set up the fans in the BIOS. That worked like a charm, so you might try that if you are in the same boat. You might also install HWMonitor and keep it running whenever you are using your computer to keep an eye on your temperatures. It wouldn’t be so great if your settings were off and you ended up with overheating issues, trust me. Hopefully this helps.

With ASUS Fan Xpert, the user can adjust the setting of the CPU and housing fan to achieve the best in heat dissipation performance. The ASUS Fan Xpert also supports a combined hard PWM/DC mode for CPU and housing fans. You can also reduce the speed of the CPU fan to a minimal noise level during light use.

How to use

1. Click the screen to select the type of fan that you want to customize
2. Click to switch between CPU and chassis fan screens
3. Click to maximize the fan speed
4. Click to increase the fan speed for a high cooling capability
5. Click to set the balanced configuration between the fan’s noise level and speed
6. Click to set the fan’s speed to silent mode

Smart Mode allows you to customize the fan’s rotation speeds and responsiveness based on your system’s temperature.

1. Tick to set up the CPU fan mode
2. Click and drag to set the fan’s rotation speed
3. Click and drag the sliders to adjust the fan’s responsiveness
4. Click to switch between the CPU and chassis fan screens
5. Click to undo the changes
6. Click to apply the changes

RPM Mode allows you to set up the fan speed when the CPU temperature is below 75℃.

1. Tick to set the Chassis fan’s mode
2. Click and drag to set the fan’s rotation speed
3. Click and drag the sliders to adjust the fan’s responsiveness
4. Click to switch between the CPU and chassis fan screens
5. Click to select different thermal sensor onboard for chassis fan’s speed control
6. Click to undo the changes
7. Click to apply the changes
