Прошивка планшета ASUS VivoTab Smart ME400C

Перед вами подробная пошаговая инструкция по установке Windows на планшет ASUS VivoTab Smart ME400C. Нашей редакцией были выбраны наиболее подходящие способы по переустановке системы для этой модели ASUS.

Если данная инструкция результата не даст попробуйте доверить прошивку профессионалу. Напомним, что заводской версией системы планшета является — Windows 8.

1. Зарядите прошиваемый планшет на 100%.

2. Сохраняем с флешки, симкарты и памяти планшета все данные которые нельзя терять. Симку (если есть) можно вытащить.

3. Далее следуют два варианта:

• Скачиваем и скидываем на карту памяти или флешку(от 4 Гб) необходимую прошивку (установочную версию Windows), флешку установить в планшет. Подобрать и скачать прошивку можно здесь.

• Если есть докстанция с клавиатурой — хорошо, если нет то к USB-разъему прошиваемого планшета подключаем любую USB клавиатуру.

• Если в планшете не предусмотрен полноценный USB, то необходим еще и USB OTG кабель.

• Теперь включаем планшет и на подключенной к нему клавиатуре зажимаем кнопку Esc.

• Откроется BIOS планшета в котором необходимо выбрать диск, на котором размещена установочная система. Это та самая карта памяти или флешка, в каторую мы заранее скидывали установочную версию Windows. Обычно в BIOSе указан основной диск планшета, с которого загружаться сейчас ненужно.

• Далее сохраняем параметры, планшет перезагрузится и начнет установку Windows.

• Скачиваем и скидываем в отдельный диск на планшете или на карту памяти(от 4 Гб) необходимую прошивку (установочную версию Windows). Подобрать и скачать прошивку можно здесь.

• Запускаем файл установки системы из дистрибутива

4. Указываем раздел под виндовс или обновляем текущий.

5. В процессе установки планшет может пару раз перезагрузится — это нормально.

6. Установка завершена, настраиваем систему.

7. Готово. Если после загрузки уже установленной системы экран нереагирует на нажатия, значит в Windows не включена поддержка сенсора.

Кнопками клавиатуры выполняем переход по системе до нужного места (как мышкой).
Назначения клавиш:

Пробел — это выбор объекта

Стрелки — можно листать в списке

После этого Windows предоставит выбор метода ввода Перо и сенсорный ввод. Выбираем его и пользуемся.

Внимание! Любые действия Вы выполняете на свой риск. Не следует делать переустановку системы без причины.

Yep. thought I’d give Win 10 final release a try on my ME400C. Win 10 updated over my prior Win 8.1.1 install just fine.

So far no problems. It took about 90 minutes to do the update but generally except for a few touches on the NEXT button, it was hands off all the way till entering my password.

Since I’d already ran Win10 preview on my ME400C but felt it was «too unfinished» and had reverted back to Win8.1.1, I knew the final release should work.

When I tried to update with Windows Update, I too ran into the graphics incompatible message.

I then found this page while reading an article.

and clicked on the 32bit installer and ran it.

I’ve updated to window 10 and have found the the Intel dynamic platform and thermal framework drivers are not recognised. Is there a way to fix it or where I can get drivers from as I can’t seem to find them .

Oops. yep. I have that too.

My ME400C seems to be working fine though for how I use it. Email, web browsing, etc. I don’t play any demanding games. I also see the yellow triangle for,

NXP NearfieldProximity Provider
Broadcom GNSS Geolocation Sensor

I have a feeling they have the warning triangle simply because they’re not Microsoft certified drivers. When trying to do a driver update for those three devices just says «The best driver software for your device is already installed.»

Since the ME400C was likely never intended to be upgraded to Win 8.1 let alone Win 10, I wouldn’t expect any new drivers out of Asus. Oh well. if it ain’t broke. don’t fix it.

If you do a Win 10 clean install, you will need to goto Asus Support and download the «ASUS VivoTab Smart ME400 Driver Package» under Utilities and unzip then install it.

Here’s a summary of an issue I had on my ME400C with some of the graphics properties of Cortana, Edge, the Store, Mail and Calendar that was «fixed» by doing a stock ME400C Graphics driver uninstall and update.

Just an FYI. I updated my ME400C with the November 2015 Windows 10 update. So far I’ve had no problems.

Windows 10 functionality

I have a Vivotab Smart ME400CL running 8.1, nagging me to move to 10.
You mention ‘no problems’ so far, though in a previous post you hint at GPS and NFC issues that don’t particularly concern you.
But I wonder if the tablet now has full functionality with the November update?
In particular I would be loathe to lose GPS function.

So I’d like to ask if you can offer more detail regarding the full range of functionality you get on your device with 10.
I barely used my machine on 8 before moving to 8.1 but I have the impression it runs more sluggishly on 8.1.
I do wonder if I would have been better staying at 8.
I wouldn’t be keen to give up real hardware functionality for 21st century software hype and privacy stealing bloatware.

I don’t have unlimited internet access and don’t want to use 3Gb download only to discover I lose what I have.

Any help you can offer gratefully received.
