I do appreciate your efforts and time.
Was it working fine on Windows 8.1/7?
If it is not compatible with Windows 10, then you may not be able to use it.
However I suggest you to install the Windows 7 drivers in Windows 10 using Compatibility Mode option.
If you are unable to install then try to install it in Compatibility mode.

I tried to install the driver for my Selphy CP900 using the cd that came with it. It says to install the service pack for Windows 10, then try using the CD again. I can’t find the service pack on line anywhere to use. I tried Microsoft.com, Google, You Tube, etc. no luck. Still waiting for Canon to reply to my email, no luck there either.

I can get the Selphy CP900 to print from my computer now; however, the actual program for Selphy that comes with it, won’t install. I cannot date, label, etc. pictures prior to printing them. It will only allow me to print them as is.
How did you do this? My computer won’t install the driver because it gets stuck failing to recognize the the printer is connected. The printer recognizes that it’s connect the computer via USB. And the Win10 OS sees it but the installer never does. Any advice? Thanks for a reply!

The following method has worked for me with Windows 10 64 bit.
Using the Canon Selphy disk, run the install program and choose Custom install. Choose to install ONLY the software Selphy print program. After that has installed Plug in the Selphy printer, connect the USB cable and then turn on the power. If you go to Settings/Devices you should see the Selphy listed as unspecified device.
MAKE SURE THE PRINTER IS ON—Now open Windows Explorer and open the CD drive and go to DRIVER/Win_V64/CP800. Right-click on cnycpins.exe and click on Properties. Then click on Compatibility, Change settings for all users. Then under Compatibility mode, choose Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows Vista (Service Pack 2). Click Apply and then OK.
Double click on cnycpins.exe and the Driver install program will run.
Turn off the Selphy power.
Power it back on and run the Selphy print program and you should be ready to go.
I just printed a bunch of photos.
I also just used FastStone Image Viewer and was able to print to the Selphy as a regular printer.
