Windows запускает несколько служб в фоновом режиме. Вы можете найти эти фоновые службы с их текущим статусом в Сервисы окно (нажмите Windows + R, тип services.msc и ударил Войти). Но не было никакой разницы в ситуации, службы по-прежнему показывают ту же ошибку.
Теперь я начал работу по устранению неполадок в другом направлении и, наконец, оказался в этом беспорядке с помощью следующего решения:

1. Нажмите Windows Key + R комбинация, тип put Regedt32.exe в Бежать диалогового окна и нажмите Enter, чтобы открыть Редактор реестра.

Got this message in the Services Panel for the following services:
CNG Key Isolation
Com+ Event System
Com+ System Application
DCOM Server Process Launcher
Right clicken each server & choosing properties gets the same dialog window up:
«The system could not find the file specified»
What is the problem with this?
How can I rectify this.
Cant seem to find related errors in the event log — what should I be looking for?

please let us know the server version you are using along with the SP level
As far as i understood , you are not able to open server properties ? if this is not correct please provide the exact steps to reproduce the problem.
and also i would appreciate if you could provide the event logs ( related to error ) for more troubleshooting. sainath !analyze

1)Windows 2008 Server Enterprise Edition x64 — with Sp2.
Point to: Start—> Programs —> Administrative tools — > Services
In the right pane Select: COM+ Event System in the «Name» column
The Description Colomn reads:
Right click the service choosing «Properties» yields the error dialog window:
«The System cannot find the file specified»

The server a HP Proliant DL-380-G4 also runs
SQL-Server 2005 and Sharepoint Services 3.0.

Windows runs a number of services in the background. You can find these background services with their current status in Services window (Press Windows + R, type services. msc and hit Enter). These services are also seen in a separate tab, under the hood of System Configuration Utility (commonly known as msconfig).
Today, I came around a weird issue for the background services running in the Services window. Against each service, the status says “Failed to Read Description. Error Code 2″. Have a look at the following screenshot:
Since there is error code 2, it can be concluded that background services files were missing from the system. The first and foremost thing I did after seeing the error, I just checked the necessary files for the services. So it was everything OK with my system, the files were there
So I ran the System File Checker to find out and fix possible corruption and rebooted. But there was no difference in the situation, services still showing the same error.
Now, I started by troubleshooting steps in another direction, and finally ended up all this mess with the following solution:

3. Now right click on the MUI key and select New -> Key. Name the newly created key as StringCacheSettings.
In the right pane of this newly created key, create a new DWORD value, name it as StringCacheGeneration. Double click this newly created DWORD to modify its Value data:
4. In the above shown box, type the Value data as 38b. Make sure you have selected Hexadecimal base here. Click OK. You may now close the Registry Editor and reboot to get fixed up.
