[INS-20802] Oracle Net Configuration Assistant failed

I had the following error on 11gR2 Grid Infrastructure installation:

its just asking to reinstall everything. wow, thats a good solution.. 🙁

for me it worked in diffrent way.
I had to run the installer from ‘win64’ directory. Then a cmd window prompted with missing java_home. I the provided the path of Java_home to my c:\program files\java\jdk1.7 and it did the trick. My environment is Windows 2008 server SP2, 64 bit.

Log file indicates that it’s not possible to start listener, because “The information provided for this listener is currently in use by other software on this computer.” Not very helpful, so i checked the trace file.

Thank you. My ip address is correct so I just initiated with retry step. This error didn’t resurfaced now.

I checked all the configuration mentioned above but all were fine for me.
Then just clicked on retry from the installer screen and this time
oracle net configuration assistant succeeded 🙂

Hi men, I’ve the same problem but I only put the name of the server in my host file located in /etc/host, so my file looks like:

127.0.0.1 localhost
#::1 localhost6.localdomain6 localhost6
34.198.99.81 hostName

If you dont know what is the name of your host only put in the comamand line hostname

i got true in tail -50 /oracle/cfgtoollogs/netca/trace_OraDB12Home1-1605102PM4536.log

Содержит как минимум одну заглавную букву.

Не менее 8 символов в длину.
Использует набор символов базы данных, который может включать символы подчеркивания (_), доллара ($) и знака фунта (#).
Не должно быть реальным словом.

ins-20802 — oracle net configuration assistant не удалось установить — centos 7

Здравствуйте, я пытаюсь следовать руководству по установке Oracle 12c. на самом деле он уже был установлен на машине, а затем деинсталлирован.

Во время установки я получаю окно ошибки» [ins-20802] oracle net configuration assistant failed during installation». И предложил детальный лог-файл, где я могу посмотреть:

Есть идеи, что я делаю не так и как, наконец, установить Oracle?

Я нашел причину этого исключения. Если кто-то столкнется с такой же проблемой, просто создайте папку /etc/oracle и дайте ей 777 разрешений. Для меня это помогло

Я также получил ошибку «[INS-20802] Oracle Net Configuration Assistant failed » при установке Oracle 12c (12.2.0.1.4) на Centos7.

В моем случае ошибка исчезла после добавления записи в файл /etc/hosts с именем хоста и его локальной сетью IP.

После этого изменения установка была успешно завершена.

В результате /etc/hosts

777-это не решение, это делает вашу систему уязвимой. Как было предложено в oracle docs, привилегии dir должны быть равны 775.
