Не устанавливается «Киностудия Windows».
Пытаясь установить Киностудию Windows, с помощью Windows Live я наткнулся на неожиданные проблемы во время установки, написал в службу поддержки, внятных и толковых ответов так и не получил (тексты сообщений приведины ниже), надеюсь на помощь!
Не могу установить «Киностудию Windows», установка доходит до 47%, затем программа установки зависает и через 5-10 минут выдает сообщение, что ей не удалось установить такие обязательные компоненты для работы киностудии, как: Microsoft Visual Studio Runtime, SQL Server CE 3.1, Direct3D 9 и т.д.
Дополнительная информация об ошибке: Продукт: Windows Live Communications Platform — Программа установки обнаружила непредвиденную ошибку при установке данного пакета. Возможно, она вызвана неполадками в этом пакете. Код ошибки 2762. Аргументы: , ,

Убедитесь,не нужны ли вашему компьютеру обновления и установите их, если необходимо.
Перезагрузите компьютер, для того, чтобы обновления вступили в силу.

Все доступные на данный момент обновления установлены, Windows Live загружался с офицальной ссылки.
Повторная попытка установки завершиласть такой ошибкой: Неудалось установить программу фотоальбом, поскольку произошла ошибка при установке обязательного компонента: Direct3D 9.

(Все приложения использующие Direct3D работают стабильно.)

Проблема должна быть решена.
Попытка установки Windows Move Marker скаченного с данной ссылки не привела к каким либо результатам, окно установщика не появляется, процесс висит в системе.

Microsoft has ended support of Windows Essentials 2012 since January 2017.
We won’t be able to download the installer software anymore.
There is a chance you can still be able to use the offline installer to download 2012. Give it a try.

P.S. The correct name is Windows Essentials 2012.
At one time, it was called Windows LIVE Essentials.
Microsoft has long since removed the word «live» from the name.

I downloaded the wlseryp-all.exe and it works.
Windows Essentials 2012 suite reached end of support on January 10, 2017. It is no longer available for download.

I had the offline installer and need to install it on a machine where I previously had it installed, but it is now failing with the following error:
An unknown error occurred
I suspect it’s trying to connect to MS at the end of the installation and it fails

Nothing to do with connecting to MS AFAIK, the clue is right there in the error message: «Platform Lang[uage]»
It’s apparently trying to tell you your system language pack no longer matches the language of the installer package. Looks like they may have updated or changed the structure of Windows 10 Display Languages because it doesn’t matter if the *name* of your system language is the same as the WLM installation package — it still fails.
AND BE WARNED: You are likely to get this error if you try to upgrade WLM 2011 to 2012 — after which you can’t roll back and 2012 doesn’t work. Screwed!
[Edit]: No, I fixed it. I had English (UK) as the only system language, added English (US) and it still had the problem as above. But I forgot when you add a language you have to log off & log on again to activate it. Did that, with English (US) as the default language, re-ran WLM 2012 installation, and it worked! Follow the steps below to uninstall and re-install the Windows Live Essentials and check if it helps:
1. Perform Windows Update
2. Uninstall Essentials by following the steps within this link .
3. Delete the following files for a clean installation:
For 32 bit
C:\Program Files\Windows Live
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Windows Live
For 64 bit
C:\Program Files(x86)\Windows Live
C:\Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Windows Live
4. Disable firewall (Note that disabling the firewall makes your computer prone to virus attack. We suggest that you only visit the websites below and enable your firewall after installation is done).
5. Reset browser to factory settings.
6. Reinstall Windows Essentials:
Note: in case you are using Windows Live Mail, please save them on a safe folder as you will delete folders that is included within Windows Essentials. To know how to import and and export e-mails, please check this link ).
