The G580 is not currently showing in the supported systems list: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/documents/ht103535

You should keep an eye on that list as it is being updated fairly regularly.

If / when drivers become available, you should be able to find them in your system’s support pages:

It doesn’t really help.

That is typical Leonovo way of work.

You should warn people to upgrade their notebooks if you ain’t got no drivers ready.

How hard can it be to prepare drivers before a new OS is delivered which was known a year in advance.

It’s ok to have good hardware, but it needs support too.

Some people work with this hardware and loose a bunch of money if it doesn’t (much more as the notebook cost was).

So get of your seats and do something.

I’m now waiting for four weeks, for those LAN andd WIFI drivers.

I had to downgrade Windows 7 again, how can this be?

I would kindly ask you, if there is a chance that the G580 get a driver support for Windows 10 in the near future. Or there will be no support for Win10.

At the moment it is not on the list of the supported devices, but your answers sounds like there will be an support. Otherwise on the website it looks like there will be no support.

Could you please give us a hint, if there will be an support or not, then all of us know it and can downgrade to Win 8.1 or not.

I don’t think windows 10 drivers for g580 will ever be made available because this model is currently discontinued.

Very unfortunate. I have no audio ever since an automatic update occured on my g580, but this was after mine was running windows 10 for several months already. Lenovo doesn’t care because there’s no interest in a discontinued model.

They’ve abandoned us g580 users.

Is the windos 10 update still not avaliable for G580 model ?

I just updated my software to windos 10 but I’m not able to play any sounds on my laptop due to missing update for dolby audio also my mouse pad scroll is not working.

RIDICULOUS! how is this issue resolve?? It is UNRESOLVED as there are no Windows 10 drivers for this product. I made the mistake of picking this unit up second hand, then made the additional mistake of upgrading to Windows 10. For whatever reason trying to get from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 kept on failing so I went to 10, now I cannot use BlueTooth.

No, this thread is NOT resolved. Unless of course we get the official answer — «no sorry, no bluetooth on Windows 10, you have to buy another laptop if you want bluetooth.»
