LightScribe Template Labeler — программа для нанесения рисунков на CD-DVD диски по технологии LightScribe. Программа LightScribe Template Labeler предоставляет Вам больше возможностей чем LightScribe Simple Labeler. Работа с Template Labeler разбита на три этапа: выбор подходящего шаблона, его редактирование, предварительный просмотр и запись. По умолчанию в программе чуть более десятка шаблонов для оформления дисков, но если не полениться и загрузить с официального сайта все имеющиеся там заготовки, то их число возрастет примерно до ста + на soft.sibnet.ru есть: Сборка разных картинок для нанесения их на CD — DVD по технологии LightScribe (Задействуйте поиск).
Для удобства шаблоны разделены по категориям. В каждом из них есть место для вставки пользовательского текста и изображений. При добавлении надписи можно выбрать кегль, гарнитуру и начертание шрифта, а также определиться с выравниванием текста. При этом с текстом можно работать только в рамках отведенной области, то есть вы не сможете добавить надпись в любое место шаблона. То же самое касается и графических файлов — в большинстве шаблонов они могут быть вставлены только в четко отведенные для них места. Выбрав подходящее изображение, можно определиться с его масштабом, повернуть в нужную сторону и отцентровать.
Графические файлы показываются как полноцвет, в то время как на диске рисунок будет в оттенках серого. В отличие от Simple Labeler, программа Template Labeler дает возможность увидеть рисунок на предварительном просмотре не в черно-белом варианте, а именно таким, каким он будет на диске. На последнем этапе вы сможете не только указать количество копий, которые нужно нарисовать, но и выбрать уровень контрастности (высокий, средний, низкий), причем, картинка в области предварительного просмотра будет бледнеть или становиться ярче, в зависимости от вашего выбора. Качество нанесения рисунка, конечно же, влияет и на скорость. Примерное время рисования вы сможете увидеть под областью предварительного просмотра — в среднем, на один диск уходит от 20 минут до получаса.

LightScribe Windows 10
After some 6 months or so working with LightScribe and Windows 10 a few things have emerged…
1: Lightscribe has not suffered or benefited from the change from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10.

2: Windows 10 Home is still more forgiving regarding installation of the LightScribe System Software (LightScribe Drivers) than Windows 10 Pro.
.
3: If you have LightScribe installed on a Win 7 or 8 machines prior to upgrading to Windows 10 you are more likely to keep it than install it fresh on a new Win 10 install.

4: You still can’t install the LightScribe Template Labeler on Windows 10, directly but you can using these indirect methods I have discovered **

5: The best way to install the System Software on Windows 10 is using the compatibility settings, like this:

1: Select compatible setting and then click on use recommended setting.
2: Then click on test settings, program will install and will work.
3: Then just restart machine and you are done.
4: If LSS has not loaded then just go to programs load it from there.

They were made for Win 8.1 but the methods are the same for Win 10.
