Необходимые файлы для скачивания

• Скачать VmWare (версия 12.5)

Настраиваем BIOS/UEFI

Перейдите в BIOS/UEFI вашего компьютера и включите параметры:

Чтобы найти данные параметры прибегните к Google, указав производителя материнской платы.

Подготовка VMware Workstation Player к macOS

Просто так взять и установить и установить macOS в VMware Workstation Player у вас не получиться необходима предварительная настройка.

Unclock VMware Workstation Player для установки macOS

В разделе «Необходимые файлы для скачивания» вы должны были скачать архив Unlocker. Извлеките все из архива, временно отключить антивирусную программу и запустить файл от имени администратора файл win-install.cmd.

Данная процедура необходима для того чтобы добавить возможность в VMware Workstation Player установливать macOS.

Настройка параметров VMware Workstation Player

Начнем теперь настраивать непосредственно VMware Workstation Player, чтобы установка прошла успешно.

1. Запустите VMware Workstation Player
2. Выберите «Create New Virtual Machine»
3. На следующем шаге выберите установку из ISO, а после укажите путь к образу нажав на «Browser»
4. Выбираем из списка операционную систему macOS, версия 10.12
5. Указываем место куда будет установлена виртуальная операционная система (на свой выбор)
6. Указываем максимальный размер, который может использовать macOS
7. Жмем финиш, предварительная настройка закончена
8. Далее переходим к настройке выделяемых ресурсов для виртуальной машины
9. Количество памяти — не больше половины, чем ее установлено в системе
10. Процессор — не больше половины ядер, также поставить галочку напротив параметра включающего систему виртуализации «Virtualize Intel VT-X…«
11. Все необходимые настройки почти внесены, жмем кнопку «OK»
12. Переходим в ту папку что вы указали для установки macOS (пункт 5) и открываем файл с расширением VMX с помощью текстового редактора (блокнот или Notepad ++, Sublime, WordPad)
13. В конце файла c новой строки дописываем значения smc.version = «0» файл сохраняем и закрываем

Первый запуск и установка системы

1. После настройки нажимаем кнопку «Play virtual machine» чтобы начать устанавливать MacOS
2. На не продолжительное время на экране появиться черный экран с яблоком и полосой загрузки
3. После чего появиться графическая оболочка установщика MacOS, с предложением выбрать языки начинаем установку
4. Попадаем в окно выбора диска для установки,нажимаем на панели «Утилиты» и выбираем «Дисковая утилита»
5. Необходимо выбрать виртуальный диск и отформатировать виртуальный жесткий диск, после закрыть окно «Дисковой утилиты»
6. У вас появиться иконка жесткого диска, выбираем его и продолжаем
7. После чего начнется длительная установка ОС MacOS в виртуальную машину, время будет зависеть мощности вашего ПК
8. По окончанию вас попросят настроить часовой пояс, выбор языка клавиатуры, включение геолокации, вносим настройки нас свое усмотрение

Настройка разрешения экрана и установка дополнений

Чтобы система работала как можно лучше, а также корректно работало масштабирования необходимо еще также установить специальные дополнения.

Для этого кликните по меню VMware Player виртуальной машины — > Manage -> Install VmWare Tool.

Кликните по Install VmWare Tool, введите пароль, после чего произойдет установка дополнений. Перезагрузите виртуальную машину. Все готово!

How To Install macOS Sierra on a Ryzen PC (Virtual Machine / VMWare)

This guide will show you the steps to install Sierra on a AMD Ryzen PC using a VMWare Virtual Machine. I’m making this guide for those who don’t have access to a Mac and need macOS to either try out for a bit or create a macOS boot loader installer for a AMD hackintosh build. There is another VMWare Sierra guide on this site, but with AMD system a modified VMWare image is required to even be able to boot macOS so this AMD VMWare guide has to be used instead.

Why not a High Sierra VM?

So getting High Sierra running as a virtual machine in Windows or Linux is actually pretty difficult with a Ryzen PC. Some will manage to get it working, butt not for others with there being all sorts of errors that can potentially popup on the screen. I actually spent half a day trying to get High Sierra working on VMWare player and wasn’t able to do it, so I had to resort to using Sierra, which I posted the steps for here. You can still use a Sierra VM to download High Sierra and create a High Sierra boot loader if you are trying to create a hackintosh.

AMD Ryzen Sierra VMWare Guide

Understand that even after you get macOS running, virtual performance with macOS is going to bad. There wont be able acceleration and on AMD machines it runs pretty pretty laggy, which is why it’s best to make a hackintosh if you want a smooth experience

Step 1: Torrent Sierra AMD VMWare Image

Credit goes to Shamme for providing the hackintosh community with this modified VMWare image. Any torrenting program is needed in order to download the VMWare image. My favorite torrent program is QBitTorrent.

1. Download QBitTorrent
2. Install QBitTorrent
3. DownloadSierraAMD_VM.zip.torrent.zip
4. Unzip SierraAMD_VM.zip.torrent
5. Double-click or Open SierraAMD_VM.zip.torrent and initiate the torrent download

Step 2: Install VMWare Player

Step 3: Modify VMware VMX file for Sierra

1. Open VMWare Player
2. Click Create a New Virtual Machine
3. Click I will install the operating system later and click Next
4. Select Other under Guest Operating System
5. Select Other 64-bit under version and click Next
6. Change the default name if you want and click Next
7. Select Store virtual disk as a single file
8. Click Finish
9. Highlight Memory column and change memory to atleast 2GB+ or 2048
10. Highlight CD/DVD (IDE) and uncheck Connect at power on
11. Click on Hard Disk (IDE)
12. Click Remove at the bottom
13. Click Add…
14. Select Hard Disk and click Next
15. Select SCSI and click Next
16. Select Use an existing virtual disk and click Next
17. Find whever you unzipped SierraAMD_VM from the download in Step 1
18. Open SierraAMD_VM and double click macOS HD or click Open
19. Click Finish
20. Click Keep Existing Format
21. Click OK
22. Click Play virtual machine
23. Press Enter
24. Press Enter
25. Virtual machine with macOS will now slowly boot..

Now that you have your virtual machine setup you are ready for the real deal if your goal is to make a working hackintosh. With an actual hackintosh you wont have any the of the performance drawbacks as a Virtual machine such as the lag or lack of video acceleration.

VMware AMD Hackintosh

I see that you want to make a macOS VM in VMware on your AMD CPU but have no idea how or you need a macOS virtual machine. You’ve come to the right place. This guide was written for Windows. It may work in Linux but no guarantees.

Some important things you need to know

Modern CPUs = Anything made from 2010 and onwards

Make sure that Virtualization/AMD-V is supported by your CPU and is enabled in your BIOS. Modern CPUs will definitely support this, but if you have an older CPU, you may want to double check.

Your CPU also needs to support the SSE4.1 instruction set in order to run macOS Sierra and newer. Modern CPUs will also support this. If you have an older CPU, again you should double check. You can use CPU-Z to check these if you’re not sure.

Due to VMware’s graphics acceleration not being compatible with macOS, you will not have any graphics acceleration in your virtual machine. Things like the Launchpad will be extremely laggy, the Dock will be opaque and the virtual machine will not have multiple monitor support. That means that apps like Final Cut Pro will not work at all on this.

The Mac App Store does work, but it will not work straightaway. You will need to do some tweaking to the virtual machine, which you can find in the «Post Installation Tweaks» page.

iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime & Siri will not work at all.

Do not update you virtual machine. The AMD kernel is only built for 10.15.0 and you will break your virtual machine if you update it.
