[Mac OS X] SimplyBurns — запись дисков
Существует ряд программ под OS X для записи CD/DVD/BD-дисков. Наиболее известной и популярной из которых является Toast Titanium. Это мощный универсальный комбайн со множеством возможностей. Но увы, программа не бесплатна и стоит 99$. Да к тому же далеко не всем требуются ее безграничные возможности. Многим вполне достаточно иметь простой набор возможностей — запись обычных дисков с данными, запись аудиодисков, запись образов дисков и копирование дисков. Вот тогда и встает вопрос, чем же из разряда Free можно заменить ее.
В свое время озадачившись таким вопросом, я произвел поиск претендентов и попробовав некоторых из них, остановился на программе SimplyBurns. Пользуюсь ей примерно около года, за все это время она себя зарекомендовала как очень легкая и простая в использовании.
Если перед вами встал похожий выбор, тогда знакомьтесь.
Выбираем, например, режим «Данные».
Нажав кнопку «Доб..» — можно добавить в проект файлы и папки, которые необходимо записать. Хотя можно и просто перетащить их в это окно. Так же можно создавать новые папки непосредственно в проекте. В правой части окна можно выбрать устройство записи (нужно если у вас устройств больше чем одно) и тип файловой системы, которая будет создана на записываемом диске:

Все режимы не вызывают каких либо вопросов. Все просто и понятно.
И еще. На сайте разработчика заявлено, что программа поддерживает запись только CD/DVD дисков. Но в процессе работы с программой было обнаружено, что запись образа Blu-Ray диска на самом деле вполне возможна:
Диск записывался внешним USB-приводом Asus SBW-06C1S-U, после чего, бытовым BD-проигрывателем Sony воспроизвелся без проблем.
Перетаскивание файлов или папок на значок программы в Доке так же поддерживается, при этом режим записи выбирается автоматически. Т.е. если, к примеру, перетянуть на значок программы файл образа диска, то будет запущен режим записи образа.
В общем рекомендую.

SimplyFails. All I needed to do is burn a movie to DVD and all I get is source forge failed, source forge failed, source forge failed for all my attempts. No advice, no FAQ for this, no explanation at all. Basically, this is half baked and the secret you don’t get to find out until you waste your time is that it can only burn pre-converted DMG, ISO, CUE or TOC files. Too much hassle. Thank you but no thanks.
