Select Your Operating System

The Windows release of OBS Studio supports Windows 8, 8.1 and 10.

The macOS release of OBS Studio supports macOS 10.13 and newer.

The Linux release is available officially for Ubuntu 18.04 and newer. FFmpeg is required.

sudo apt install ffmpeg

After installing FFmpeg, install OBS Studio using:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:obsproject/obs-studio
sudo apt install obs-studio

OBS Classic (Deprecated)

OBS Classic is no longer supported or maintained; please use OBS Studio for new projects.

The original Open Broadcaster Software bundle comes with both 32-bit and 64-bit versions and is available only for Windows.

This program and its source code are freely available for all to use and change under the GNU General Public License v2.0 (or greater), which you agree to when using this program or its source code.
