Notes
— Note 1: Upload to NIKON IMAGE SPACE requires a Nikon ID.
— Note 2: The GPS function runs continuously in the background, increasing the drain on the battery. The drain on the battery can be reduced by choosing power-saving mode.
— If you are unable to download images or connect via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi after pairing, try one or more of the following solutions:
— Turn the paired camera off and then on again.
— Switch tabs in SnapBridge.
— Exit and relaunch SnapBridge.

— Remote movie recording is not supported on some cameras.
— Movies can be downloaded by switching to Wi-Fi and selecting the files manually. Download is not available with AVI files.
— Enable NFC on the smart device before attempting to launch the app or connect via NFC.
— Remote photography and movie download are available only if the camera has Wi-Fi (some cameras only).
— The app may not perform as expected depending on your environment and network conditions.
— A smart device with a display resolution of WVGA (960 × 540 pixels) or better is required.

2 ★ If you own a d3500, this is a good reason to regret Nikon getting rid of the IR remote shutter as this app is so poor, with it taking so long to sync to the camera, and from there the camera controls are locked out, so to adjust you have to disconnect, change any settings and (if lucky as the connection is very random), wait again just to do another remote shot. Very poor!

3 ★ I managed to fix my issues by resetting the app by clearing app data and cache, then added back my Z6 using both Bluetooth and wireless. From the camera I also enabled Bluetooth and associated it with my Z6. It is fundamental to select both Bluetooth and wireless, and the BT is the way to communicate with my Z6 and enable the wireless connection. Though, the app is a bit quirky and slow. When using it as a remote shutter un bulb mode, you can’t put the app in the background and check other apps

1 ★ All of a sudden i am unable to download images straight to my phone. It used to be as simple as turn the camera on and images download. Now the camera keep saying i am out of bluetooth range even though my phone and camera are next to each other. I have tried to reconnect the camera and phone 5 times and i keep getting the same issue. I dont undetstand why this app always gives me issues. I havent made any changes to my camera settings and now it just wont allow me to download photos at all

4 ★ Edited review originally 1 star. Since writing my first review I discovered quite by accident why the app wasn’t working. It was because I had my camera’s Menu open. It now works perfectly and I would have given it five stars except for the fact that nowhere in all the instructions does it say «Do not use with camera menu open». I wasted a month thinking it didn’t work.

1 ★ It use to work fine but as the months passed the app slowly started to stop downloading the pictures I take and when I got a new phone the app completely stop working altogether and started saying how I need to read the online help information and for some reason the app won’t connect to the camera at all so I have to put the SD Card in my computer just to get the photos on my phone.

5 ★ I recently started using Snapbridge because I bought a D5600. Whether, I’m using Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, this app works flawlessly. Kudos to Nikon. I understand this was not always the case. I’m using Android 6.0. IMHO, this app is pretty well perfected. Truly, it does take some practice, though.

1 ★ This used to work. Suddenly one day it was not connecting with camera. I reinstalled. Deleted paired device from camera and unpaired from phone. Still not working in my Redmi note 5. Camera shows connected but the app shows error. Tell me how to resolve this issue. This is working with my Redmi note 4 device.

1 ★ Terrible! Upon using this app over a year ago and deleting it because it was useless. Most of the time it will not work. Here I am now trying to use it again and still the same problems. To much trouble trying to get it to pair for transferring photos. I will just stick with the reliable hard wired cord transfer.

5 ★ I use this all the time. D3500 works flawlessly with my phone. Can get assignments sent to school blackboard in a minute if no post edit is needed. Can text a 2mb sample to people from the camera to my phone if they see me taking photos somewhere. Wish I could import a water mark to my phone through the app

2 ★ This app has cost me hours of trouble shooting. Still not working. Worked at first, then suddenly it doesn’t work. Didn’t update app or camera, it just wouldn’t connect. Now I can’t pair at all after reinstall of this junk. Tried all fixes in the Nikon completely worthless trouble shooting guide. Do not waste your time using this. You’ll only waste time and get incredibly irritated. I will never trust these guys again.

1 ★ Worked great until yesterday, I can Not connect with wifi! Yes I’ve updated my firmware, cleaned cache, checked my wifi, and still, nothing! I even uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. Now it won’t even connect with my camera. It just searches and searches! Please fix this 😭

1 ★ There were too many problems trying to connect to Wi-Fi to any of my Nikon cameras. Apparently oh, the firmware update that Nikon recommended for the cameras was a big mistake as now I cannot connect to the app at all. Not with any of my cameras! I solved the problem. I bought a cheap Fujifilm XP 140, downloaded Fujifilm remote camera app and now, I can put that camera 31 ft in the air and have complete control over the shutter and zoom. I am going to make a paperweight out of all of my Nikons.

1 ★ I use this app to provide GPS to a D5600 so each picture will have the GPS tags populated. I take the camera out shooting and keep the phone in my pocket. The app only appears to update the GPS when it loads and all of my pics are tagged with the location from when I turned it on even if it is hours later. The response from Nikon support is that it should update on it’s own but there is zero guidance on how often that might happen. There also isn’t some action that I can take that will cause the app to update the camera. I was advised to re-pair the camera because that might help but wasn’t told what to expect once I’ve done so. Nikon doesn’t support or partner with any 3rd party app providers, so they are the only game in town.

3 ★ D850 user: I’ve only tried this app twice. The first time it worked for about 15 minutes and then I had a connection issue. I tried it today and figured out that you can download jpg and raw images. I was able to take pictures remotely. However, it is slow on the Download. Im a bit intimidated about the Firmware update that I’v not yet added due to previous comments. I gave 3 stars because I’m not confident in the app yet and its usability or reliability. With time star rate could change.

4 ★ Somewhat clunky but does its job (on a Z5 y least). To save _current_ GPS tags you gotta leave the power saving mode which makes sense but isn’t obvious; can’t simply keep your phone in the pocket all the time and hope everything works. The 2M limit feels pretty arbitrary and low for 2020Q3.
