Game software was installed and ran as expected on previous build and updates until the latest.
I do not have any virtualisation software active of any kind.
Hardware is Microsoft Surface Book (v1) with Performance base 1tb variant
I have disabled all Hyper-V items in services manager
I have tried all the usual things suggested in all the web searches such as computer name not having desktop- in it etc
The issue here is what has changed?
Is it memory/program execution space segregation being enforced where it was previously not?
what logs do I need to look at to find a clue?

I’m not sure the game software you said can be run on Windows 10 1803. Because there may be compatibility issues for some programs. You could check the game software official website if it has a new version. If you want to check the log for hyper-v, you could try to check the event log.

As I said the game has been functioning on Win10 Pro on a Microsoft Surface Book for over 18 months with no issues. The configuration of the system is fairly stable and there have been no software installations for some months. The only thing it gets is regular MS Updates.
the game is NEWZ:Infestation — however I have seen the same issue appearing in other game forum pages since the release of 1803.
The game launcher and updater seem to be working OK and functional to provide the latest game builds.
On game launch a popup window appears with the error.

Нуб Группа: Members На ОБТ все работало. Тут релиз и облом пытался не получается. Sorry this application cannot run under a Virtual Machine Панель управления -> Программы и компоненты -> Включение или отключение компонентов Windows -> Снять галочку с Hyper-V -> Нажать Ок. Подскажите что делать антивирус касперский 🙁

 Сообщений: 6 932 Если дело в антивируснике, то добавь приложение в исключения на проверку. Может пожет.

Проблема описанная выше появляется при запуске игры, которая запускалась ранее нормально, т.е. она была установлена нормально, потому что она запускалась.

добавить-добавил, но антивирус уже кряк отправил в карантин. логи просмотри если такое началось после установки антивируса, то косяк 100% из-за антивируса. ищи кряк новый.

Я смотрел карантин, там нет ничего .

| На компе стоит только Windows 7 x64, никакой виртуальной машины (типа Virtual PC, VirtualBOX) нет, почему игра запускается на виртуальной машине, если я не устанавливал виртуальную машину ? Переустановил игру с выгруженным антивирусом и фаерволом, также запсутил игру с полностью выгруженным антивирусом и фаерволом, результат 0.
