Ok so let’s discuss pros and cons here, please. Starting with CONS:
1 — If we have many desktop shortcuts and we open the start menu, the program names will conflict with the ones on the desktop so we will not be able to read the names properly.
2 — The minimize, maximize and close window buttons at the top right corner have simply vanished, making it hard to determine where to click.
3 — It’s hard to go to the wanted window or to drag any specific window since the other one on the background will be visible, so when we click the top bar of a window, we might always mistake for the one on the back, thus going to the wrong one specially if one is set to always on top.
4 — Some windows fonts such as error messages in blue color cannot be read on white or any bright background colors.
———Now for the PROS:
1 — It’s pretty obvious, it looks gorgeous. I hate the white background windows, I also use a software to make google black instead.
2 — It’s very useful when you set (like me) tons of pictures in slideshow every 5 or so seconds as the desktop wallpapers, because no matter what folder you open, you will always be able to view the slideshow pictures thru the unfocused glass window.
3 — It’s not just beautiful aesthetically, it prevents hurting my eyes with the white-ish.
4 — It makes sense, since the OS it’s called Windows, it should have all that GLASS!
