OpenTTD Компьютерная игра, порт известной игры Transport Tycoon Deluxe. OpenTTD является бесплатной и свободной программой, для работы можно использовать файлы данных от платной оригинальной Transport Tycoon Deluxe.
Суть игры в создании и успешном развитии транспортного предприятия, которым руководит игрок. Развитие происходит благодаря извлечению прибыли, которая получается от перевозок грузов и пассажиров разнообразным транспортом (железнодорожным, авто, авиа и водным). Игрок начинает игру в начале XX века с паровозами и самолётами типа «Кукурузник» или Юнкерс, продолжает играть с дизелями и «Боингами» и заканчивает играть в конце XXI века с маглевами, монорельсами и «Конкордами». Названия оригинальных транспортных средств сделаны вымышленными, в то время как в Transport Tycoon Deluxe используются реальные названия.
Фактически, OpenTTD является дальнейшим развитием Transport Tycoon Deluxe и превзошла своего предшественника по функциональности и стабильности. Улучшения появляются и проходят тестирование ежедневно в «ночных сборках». Помимо прочих улучшений и нововведений следует отметить в 64 раза больший максимальный размер карт, возможность строительства рек, каналов и акведуков, полноценную поддержку Юникода, перевод на 40 языков мира включая русский, возможность игры по локальной сети и через интернет, улучшенный и развивающийся искусственный интеллект. Для игры можно использовать файлы (графика, звуки и музыка) от оригинального TTD, но есть пакеты основной графики (OpenGFX), звуков (OpenSFX) и музыки (OpenMSX), которые являются полностью открытыми и созданы в рамках лицензии GNU GPL 2.0. Также в игре существует мультиплеер до 15 игроков, который поддерживает IPv6.

OpenTTD requires a separate base graphics set to run, which can be downloaded through the installer (Windows) or on first run (Windows, Linux). In case you want to manually download and install it, some options are:
- OpenGFX (graphics)
- The Transport Tycoon Deluxe data files can be used as base graphics set. You must own a version of Transport Tycoon Deluxe; they cannot be downloaded.
Sound and music sets are recommended (but not necessary). OpenSFX (sound), and OpenMSX (music) can be installed via the installer or — if you own the CD — also the Transport Tycoon Deluxe sound and music.
Additional graphics, sound, and music sets can be downloaded via the ingame content download manager.

For all binaries officially released by us we publish the MD5, SHA1, and SHA256 checksums. You can use these checksums to check whether the file you downloaded has been modified. All three checksums should match the file you downloaded; if this is not the case it means that either the file didn’t come from us or that it got broken during transport. Either way it might possibly contain dangerous modifications and the file should therefore not be trusted!

A short horror story: “I felt like a shiver along my spine, that is OTTD 1.10.3 coming like an unexpected train”.
Several fixes, most notably a crashing bug to do with group creation and renaming that that we had several crash reports for, and a potential desync with subsidy creation.

Lots of fixes this time round, notably several stability fixes to multiplayer — lots of possible desync bugs snuck in, hopefully we’ve caught them all now.
As a new “feature”, we’re now providing packages for Ubuntu 20.04 as well.

Today we say goodbye to an old friend. BaNaNaS v1 has been running since early 2007. It has served millions and millions of files. Over 5000 content entries were created. Over 20000 unique users used the service daily. It is what makes OpenTTD truly unique: an ever expanding set of possible additions to the game. And today we say goodbye.
Hello all, and welcome to BaNaNaS v1.5! A completely rewritten version of BaNaNaS. What has changed? ABSOLUTELY nothing. So why do it? Well, because it now runs on code that we can maintain and support again!
You can find this new BaNaNaS version in the OpenTTD client near you. For content authors and those who just want to browse, the usual place can be visited.

Here it is, the mandatory bugfix release.
Some server administrators complained about us breaking the admin port protocol. Sorry about that, we’re bringing the old protocol back now, your old tools will now work again.
Someone also found two crash bugs to fix, game script goal question id’s being truncated, and a display issue when refitting incredibly large trains. You people have way too much creativity, who would ever think of building a ship depot next to a dock?

We thought we should give everyone currently under quarantine/lockdown/shelter-in-place something to do with their time, so we decided to release a new version of your favourite game! Not like it’s the same time we do releases every year or anything!
Many new features since 1.9 for you to enjoy:
- NewRoadTypes — NewGRF-provided roadtypes, similar to railtypes, allow users to have slow roads and fast roads and dusty roads. Now available at your nearest Content Download window.
- Docks are no longer limited to 1 per station, and ships can load/unload at all parts of the dock.
- Ability to show coverage area for stations, and authority region for towns.
- A new screenshot type and screenshot window!
- Improved logic for sharing cargo between stations, and an improved algorithm for transfer feeder payments.
- A new titlegame for this release by ALEXbr, who won this year’s competition on the forums.
And many, many more features, changes, improvements, and bug fixes. See the changelog for further details.
