Добрый день уважаемые читатели и гости блога, не так давно я вам рассказывал о последних данных по статистике браузеров в мире и там как вы помните IE занимал не очень высокое место. Сегодня я хочу поговорить именно про Internet Explore 11 и как в нем решается ошибка 9с59 при попытке его установить или обновиться до него. Разновидностью у данной ошибки могут быть WindowsUpdate_00009C59 и WindowsUpdate_dt000. Как и написал в заголовке все устраним за считанные минуты.

Как исправить ошибку 9с59

Данная проблема чаще всего возникает чаще всего на операционных системах WIndows 7, хотя я ее и встречал на Windows 8.1. Ситуация такая, при обновлении Windows вам может прилететь обновление Internet Explore 11 в центре обновления системы, либо же вы намеренно решили установить 11 версию IE, не суть, в результате выполнения действий по установке вы видите сообщение об ошибке:

• Установить дополнительные и обязательные обновления, без которых Internet Explore не может функцианировать.
• На вашем ноутбуке установлен драйвер, который конфликтует с IE 11
• Удаление поврежденных обновлений

• Перерегистрация библиотек и средство regsvr32

Далее берете и устанавливаете все KB по очереди. Все список автономных установщиков я вам предоставил. Далее перезагружаетесь и пробуете установить Internet Explore 11, могу вас уверить, что код 9с59 у вас больше не появится.

Удаление поврежденных обновлений

Очень часто установке новых обновлений, мешают старые, так как они могут быть повреждены, с такой ситуацией я сталкивался неоднократно. Из данной ситуации вы можете выйти двумя способами.

1. Удалить обновления из папки C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution
2. Удалить обновления Internet Explore 10-11, через скрипт или программы и компоненты

Чистим папку SoftwareDistribution, для этого ищем ее в C:\Windows\ удаляете все, если какие-то папки останутся, но в них ничего не будет, то это не страшно.

Далее перезапускаем службу «Центр обновления Windows» через оснастку «Службы» либо через командную строку от имени администратора:

net start wuauserv

Если это не помогло и код 9с59 в windows 7 все еще присутствует, выполните вот этот скрипт.

Содержимое скрипта, если нужно снести 11 версию, то 10 меняем на 11

Установка толстого клиента Internet Explore

Все, что вам нужно так это скачать автономный установщик IE 11, найти его можно по ссылке https://support.microsoft.com/ru-ru/help/18520/download-internet-explorer-11-offline-installer. Выбираем нужную версию, хоть под Windows Server 2008 R2.

Далее запускаете и пробегаетесь по мастеру установки, после чего перезагружаетесь.

Восстановление системных компонентов

Иногда исправить ошибку 9с59 помогает восстановление поврежденных системных компонентов, во первых откройте командную строку от имени администратора и проверьте системные компоненты на наличие повреждений, с помощью команды:

Сканирование может занять продолжительное время, обязательно дождитесь окончания.

Если найдутся какие либо проблемы, то выполните команду по восстановлению:
dism /online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Перерегистрация библиотек и средство regsvr32

Очень редко, переходя IE8-9 на десятую версию приходится заново зарегистрировать библиотеку

regsvr32 actxprxy.dllr
egsvr32 «%ProgramFiles%\Internet Explorer\ieproxy.dll»

После чего перезагружаемся и проверяем исправилась ли ошибка с кодом 9с59.

Good news — I have managed to resolve my problem and successfully install IE11

I suspected my problem was due to incompatibility with either the Zone Alarm firewall or Avast antivirus I am running. I was trying to disable them so the IE update would work but to no avail. I tried a different tack after reading some forum comments. Here’s what I did

1. Make sure you have another browser (Firefox, Google Chrome etc) on your PC

(I installed the latest version of System Update Readiness Tool (Nov 2013 version) but doubt this had any effect)

2. Start, enter «turn windows features on or off», untick ‘Internet Explorer 9’, click OK. This makes IE ‘invisible’ so you can’t use it

3. Open up Chrome and go to http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/internet-explorer/ie-11-worldwide-languages, select the correct version — mine was English, Windows 7 SP1 64 bit. Download and install it from here, not through the usual Windows Update route which continually fails.

I knew I was making progress as when it started to install it immediately told me it needed to shut down Avast and Zone Alarm. I clicked ‘OK’ and it completed the installation successfully

Hope this helps others in a similar position to mine

IE 10 or 11 update error 9c59; Will this resolve with Windows 10 or Edge?

I’ve had this ridiculous 9C59 error for I don’t know how long, years. I’ve always had Internet Explorer 8 because of the error. It will not install Internet Explorer 10 or 11, which means my PC is not «updated» fully via Windows Update, which means I can’t reserve a copy of Windows 10. Now, I’ve been annoyed about the error for a long time, but it never really effected me to any great extent.

So my question is, when Windows 10 is released, will I be able to upgrade it immediately without the 95C9 error being an issue? If not, as Edge replaces Internet Explorer, will this 9C59 error become a non-issue? I can download Edge, hopefully not get some other error, and then download Windows 10?

3. Now rename the SoftwareDistribution and Catroot2 folder. You can do this by typing the following commands in the Command Prompt. Press the “ENTER” key after you type each command.

4. Now, let’s restart the BITS, Cryptographic, MSI Installer and the Windows Update Services. Type the following commands in the Command Prompt for this. Press the ENTER key after you type each command.

1. Did you try any troubleshooting steps to fix the issue? Yes, all the fixes I’ve come across while messing with the issue, including updating Windows Update Components. I’m trying the CMD first step you suggested now, but I’m running into problems.
2. What is the make and model of your computer? Dell Studio XPS 7100 running Windows 7.1 64-bit

Trying the Command Prompt first step you mentioned, «net stop msiserver» said «The Windows Installer service is not started». So I did the net start msiserver command, then stopped it, then started it again. It started then stopped and started successfully. I then moved on to the next step.
When I got to the » Now rename the SoftwareDistributio n and Catroot2 folder.» step, typing in those strings of text: C:\WIndows\SoftwareDistribution Software Distribution.old gives this text: «A duplicate file name exists, or the file cannot be found.
And for » ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 Catroot2.old» I get this: «The system cannot find the file specified.»

I restarted all of the applications (as instructed, via » net start»commands) just to get everything started again. I don’t think anything was accomplished, but I went to Windows Update and it said I’d never checked for updates. I used Check for Updates and tried the IE 11 update just in case the Command Prompt method did work, despite it not finding the files to rename in the second step.. It failed with the same 9C59 error. I’ll update this post after trying Method 3. I have already tried Method 2 (a week or so ago).

Please let me know if there’s anything you can tell me about why Method 1 ended up with the ‘cannot find the file’ and duplicate errors.
