ZKW-Reborn — двухмерный экшен с огромными возможностями.
Все что требуется от игрока во время зомби апокалипсиса — выживать и уничтожать. Так и здесь — выбирайте режим, карту, сложность и пытайтесь выстоять столько, сколько это возможно, уничтожая зомби волну за волной. Графически игра выполнена в пиксельном стиле и имеет простое и понятное управление, однако главная ее особенность заключается в огромной кастомизации. Мало того, что персонажа можно переодеть, так еще и абсолютно каждое оружие в игре (а это пара десятков) можно улучшить по 4 параметрам: точность, урон, скорость стрельбы и перезарядки. И это только начало.
Героя можно «прокачать» за баллы по многим характеристикам, отвечающим за уровень здоровья, силу атаки, скорости перезарядка, количества награды за убийство, скорость передвижения и другие. По мимо этого, есть особые «перки» — навыки, добавляющие особого шарма, а так же мастерская, где можно создать собственные предметы. Всех возможностей и не перечислить.
Сам бой проходит в закрытых помещениях, где есть возможность перемещаться по комнатам. Стреляйте врагов и зарабатывайте деньги что бы открывать новые проходы, двери, трамплины и лестницы. В каждой комнате на полу вы увидите новое оружие, которое так же можно купить. Одновременно с собой можно носить 2 вида оружия и гранаты, не считая инвентаря, где могут хранится купленные стволы, мины и прочее.

Zombie Kill of the Week — Reborn is a challenging, fast paced, 2D survival shooter! And when we say fast, we mean breakneck, flat-out, adrenaline fuelled fast! What’s different from the other shooters is your goal isn’t to run through levels and finish the game, but to survive for as long as possible under increasingly frantic conditions (we say as long as possible because ultimately you will die!).
Seems simple enough, but where Zombie Kill of the Week — Reborn really takes off is in the added layers of depth and huge variety of features and customisation available. Players earn money for slaughtering the zombies (money might not bring you happiness, but it does buy you guns!). We live in a consumer society after all, which is useful, as you can spend big on over 25 different weapons (including chainsaw, katana, mini-gun, RPG, D.O.M. and many others!). You also need cash to open doors, activate jumps, buy new weapons, or hunt for the magic fridge and see what loot drops are inside! In short… the longer you survive, the more weapons and prizes you get.
Surviving longer also gains you ZKW-Points which you can cash in to totally customize your character, customize your weapons, buy new weapons, buy different perks, open new maps, and a lot lot more! Players also earn XP as they play, allowing them to level-up their character and develop them to fit their chosen gameplay skills. Survival is all about the margins, and every little extra helps!

ZKW Reborn –гласит название этого двухмерного экшена, который, как я уже сказал, с первого взгляда интригует тем, что вроде как ничего такого особенного нет, а оно ЕСТЬ. Давайте по порядку. Что нужно делать, если вдруг оказались в замкнутом пространстве, а навстречу прут недружелюбные монстры? Правильно, брать пушку, и валить, валить безбожно тварину. Вот собственно в этой игре – тот самый случай. И выстоять тут нужно как можно дольше, пока волна зомби не утихомирится. Перемещаться возможность имеется из комнаты в комнату, однако, для того, чтобы открыть различные проходы, двери и лестницы нужно хорошенько постараться. В каждой из комнат будем находить оружие, которое можно покупать в свой арсенал. Оружие – это отдельная тема, потому что мало того, что тут имеется выбор, так ещё каждое из них можно улучшить по 4-ём параметрам. Дальше – больше. Самого героя также можно грэйдить по всем направлениям. В игре есть мастерская, где можно создавать собственные предметы. Теперь вы понимаете, про какие особенности я говорил, которые невооружённым глазом и не видны? Несмотря на свой пиксельный внешний вид, игра обладает огромной кастомизацией, что превращает её в достаточно масштабную и интересную вещь, которая по понятным причинам может затянуть в свои азартные сети. По-моему, достаточно неплохо выглядит. А как считаете вы?
